The IACP Future Leaders Award is bestowed by the Board of Directors to recognize individuals who embody the attributes of a future claim's leader in the spirit of the IACP stated mission and objectives. Individuals are nominated by active Members of the association. The recipient receives an expense paid trip to the signature Annual Conference. The award is underwritten by the IACP Diamond Sponsors.

Jane Nettels 2024

Jane Nettels is Vice President, P&C Reinsurance Claims Manager for Swiss Re Americas. She has a degree in Political Science, with minors in English Literature and Business from the University of Kansas. She started her insurance career with Swiss Re in 2016; with the firm, she's been a key contributor to System and Process Automation, Claims Transformation, and various Reinsurance Claims teams.

Jane currently leads the US P&C Regional Claims team. The Regional team provides Claims insights to clients and stakeholders alike and are experts in identifying trends and outliers within their portfolios. She's passionate about finding new ways to manage claims and creating educational and development opportunities for insurance professionals.
